Barbara Bierstedt RN is the Senior Services Consultant for Solutions. She is received her certification as resident coordinator from the American Association of Nurses Assessment Coordinator (AANAC) and is an active member. She has 22 years experience in the long term care industry. She began her career in 1991 as a member of the opening management team for one of the first assisted living, skilled care communities in the nation as a staff development coordinator.

Barbara has extensive management experience as a SNF Director of Nurses. She also has worked as a Director of Clinical Services for a 96 bed assisted living dementia care unit. She has extensive experience working with residents in all stages of dementia.
In-addition she has experience as a hospice field nurse and administrator with an emphasis on residents with dementia.
